FORECAST PROMPTS CHANGE IN GAME TIME – Saint Louis softball's Atlantic 10 Conference Championship first-round game against George Washington, originally scheduled for 11 a.m. (CT) Wednesday, May 8, has been moved up to 9 a.m. (CT) due to an unfavorable weather forecast. The A-10 Championship is being held at Elaine Sortino Field on the campus of the University of Massachusetts in Amherst.
BILLIKENS, COLONIALS OPEN TOURNAMENT – Saint Louis (26-21), the No. 5 seed, and No. 4 George Washington (26-21) will play the first game of the six-team double-elimination A-10 Championship, the winner of which receives the A-10's automatic NCAA Championship bid. The SLU-GW winner advances to play top-seeded Saint Joseph's (34-8-1) Thursday at 11 a.m. (CT), while the loser plays an elimination game Wednesday at 2 p.m. (CT).
