Saint Louis incoming freshmen Kennedy Cordia (St. Charles, Mo./Francis Howell) and Maya Taylor (Idaho Falls, Idaho/Idaho Falls) have been named Prep Volleyball High School All Americans. Taylor earned high honorable mention plaudits, while Cordia was a special mention honoree.

Saint Louis head volleyball coach Kent Miller has announced the addition of Sien Gallop (pronounced SEE-in), an outside hitter from San Diego, Calif. Gallop transfers to the Billikens from Pacific, and will have three years of eligibility with the Billikens.
Saint Louis volleyball alumna Taylor Paulson - who received a degree in Communication in December - has signed a contract to play professional volleyball with Nurmon Jymy in Seinajoki, Finland. The team is in the midst of its season, and Paulson will compete with the team as a middle blocker through the remainder of the season.
Senior Danielle Rygelski has been named a third-team All-American by Volleyball Magazine. It is her second All-America accolade after earning an AVCA All-American nod last week.
Saint Louis senior outside hitter Danielle Rygelski has been named an AVCA honorable mention All-American, the organization announced today. She is the first Billiken volleyball player to earn All-American accolades since Bridget Fonke, Sammi McCloud and Whitney Roth were given the plaudit in 2009. Rygelski also earned AVCA first team All-Midwest Region honors earlier this month.

Saint Louis senior Danielle Rygelski tallied a career-high 35 kills in the Atlantic 10 Conference championship, but the Billikens fell to the top-seeded Dayton Flyers in five sets. The 35-kill outburst gives her 88 kills for the tournament, an Atlantic 10 Championship record. Additionally, Rygelski now has exactly 2,000 career kills, the first Billiken to achieve the feat in the rally-scoring era. Saint Louis concludes the season with a 18-14 record.
Saint Louis volleyball advanced to the Atlantic 10 Conference Volleyball Championship Match with a five-set win over second-seeded Rhode Island. The third-seeded Billikens will take on top seed Dayton tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. at Chaifetz Pavilion. It is SLU's second consecutive trip to the A-10 championship match.
Saint Louis outside hitter Danielle Rygelski led the Billikens with six aces as SLU defeated Davidson 3-1 in the opening match of the Atlantic 10 Conference Volleyball Championship. Rygelski's six individual aces and Saint Louis' 14 team aces were records for Chaifetz Pavilion. The victory moves SLU to 17-13 overall this season.
Saint Louis hosts the 2016 Atlantic 10 Volleyball Championship this weekend. The Billikens are the No. 3 seed. The Bills take on No. 6 Davidson in the first match of the tournament.
