The Saint Louis University department of athletics announced that registration for the eighth annual Royal Banks of Missouri Great Baby Race is now open. Eight babies will be selected for this year's race and will compete for savings bonds and other prizes. One of the most popular Billiken fan promotions will take place during halftime of the Billikens' 3 p.m. game against Fordham on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012, at Chaifetz Arena.

To register, please submit a picture of your baby, along with your baby's full name, age and appropriate contact information to billikenathletics@slu.edu. Also, in 50 words or less, please include why your baby should be picked to compete in this year's baby race. All registrations must be received by 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3, 2012.
