ST. LOUIS -- The Saint Louis women's tennis team remained undefeated by winning its
first match of the spring season Friday, defeating Wright State 5-2 at Sunset
Tennis Center.
The Billikens improved to 4-0, while Wright State fell to 0-1.
"Our ultimate goal is to win the Atlantic 10 Conference championship,
and to do that, we have to get better in every practice and every match," head
coach Jonathan Zych said. "The team
worked very hard during the fall and it's paying off. We played well, and it
was a good start to the spring season."
The Billikens are back in action Friday, Feb. 3,
at Bradley. Match time is 1 p.m.
