NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Junior Taylor Streid has been named to the 2012 Atlantic 10 Academic All-Conference team for swimming and diving. She is the first Saint Louis swimmer to make the All-Academic team since Anna Larson achieved the feat in 2009.

An exercise science and physical therapy major, Streid was one of the top swimmers for the Billikens this season. She finished fourth in the 200-yard IM, second in the 100-yard butterfly and eighth in the 200-yard backstroke at the A-10 Championship. Streid also finished with SLU's season best-times in the 50-yard freestyle, 100-yard freestyle, 200-yard freestyle, 500-yard freestyle, 100-yard backstroke, 200-yard backstroke, 100-yard butterfly, 200-yard IM and 400-yard IM.
