CINCINNATI - Vuk Poledica
came from behind to post a victory at No. 3 singles, but Saint Louis men's
tennis fell 6-1 to Xavier Friday afternoon.
After dropping the opening set 6-4
to Richard Canelas, Poledica captured the second set 6-1 before winning a
super-tiebreaker to claim the victory.
At No. 5, Drew Feder overcame a 6-2 first-set loss to Michael Moe and evened
the contest with a 6-4 win in the second set. However, Moe took the
super-tiebreaker and the match.
Xavier improved to 13-8, while
Saint Louis fell to 6-12.
The Billikens conclude the regular season
Saturday at Dayton.
