EDWARDSVILLE,
Ill. - Lindsay Friedman and Alyson Brand tallied two hits apiece
Wednesday afternoon in Saint Louis' 2-0 loss at Southern Illinois Edwardsville.
Friedman reached base all three
times she stepped to the plate, singling in the second and fifth innings and
drawing a walk in the seventh. Brand singled in the fourth and sixth innings.

failed to score off SIUE hurler Amanda Lambrecht (15-10), who struck out three,
surrendered four hits and three walks and hit a batter.

in the second and seventh innings. But the Billikens had a runner caught
stealing to end the second and stranded two in the final frame.

in the second and fourth off Hannah
Huebbe (10-10). Huebbe fanned three and yielded three hits and three walks.
