ST. LOUIS - Three Saint Louis University women's soccer players were members of the St. Louis Scott Gallagher Green team that captured the U.S. Youth Soccer Region II Under-19 championship late last month.

Rising sophomores Abbey Stock, Julia Merlo and Maddy Bush joined their SLSG teammates to post a 3-1 victory over KCFC Intensity 92/93 (Kansas) in the title match. Stock scored what proved to be the game-winning goal in the 21st minute as she found the back of the net for a 2-0 SLSG advantage. The goal was her sixth, giving her the Region II U-19 lead.
