PEORIA, Ill.
- Luis Miguel Flores
won Flight 5 singles with a 3-1 record to lead the Saint Louis men's tennis
team at the Bradley Classic Sept. 14-16.
Yehia El Sallaly
and Bobby Kidera
posted a 3-1 record and placed second in Flight 3 doubles, while Patrick
Kella tied for second in
Flight 4 singles with a 2-2 mark.
"Our players competed hard and fought the whole way through in a very
grueling physical event of four doubles and four singles matches," head coach Jon
Zych said. "This kind of
event really pushes you to your limits.
"I saw many great things from our team," Zych said. "These matches
build our capacity and should make the dual-meet spring season feel easier. I
am proud of our efforts and see much progress."
