SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Saint Louis junior Margo Richardson finished 13th
overall at the NCAA Midwest Regional, the best ever finish by a Billiken at the
event.
Richardson
crossed the line in 21:05.24, a new school record for a 6K. In addition, that
finish is the best by a Billiken at the NCAA Regional, surpassing Hilary Orf's
18th-place finish from a year ago.
The SLU
women's squad finished 10th overall. Jessica Hoefert placed 43rd with a time of 21:50.29,
while Lauren Fyalka was 55th
with a time of 22:00.30.
On the
men's side, the sophomore duo of Michael
Scolarici and Tim Zellmer led
the Billikens to a 19th-place finish. Scolarici placed 48th
with a 10K-time of 31:31.05, while Zellmer was 60th overall in a
time of 31:54.07.
