NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Saint Louis freshman Brendan Hulseman was named the Atlantic 10 Conference Rookie of the Week for his terrific meet in Indianapolis. This is the first weekly award for the Billikens this season.

Hulseman was honored for his times in the dual meet against IUPUI and Western Illinois this past weekend. The Evanston, Ill., native took first place in the100-yard freestyle (47.53) and 200-yard freestyle (1:42.83), third in the 500 freestyle (4:54.55) and was a member of the winning 400 freestyle relay squad. Hulseman helped the men's team medal in every event of the meet.

The Bills return to action this Saturday, Jan. 19, when they host William Jewell at the Simon Rec Center on the SLU campus at 2:30 p.m.
