NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Saint Louis sophomore Morgan Peterson was named the Atlantic 10 women's swimming Co-Performer of the Week for her performances against Western Illinois and Evansville. She won all seven events in which she competed.

The Bentonville, Ark., native has proven herself as one of the top swimmers in the A-10 in her first season, after transferring from the College of Saint Benedict. She ranks in the conference top eight in the 100-yard breaststroke (sixth), 200-yard breaststroke (fourth), 100-yard butterfly (second), 200-yard individual medley (third) and 400-yard individual medley (third).

Peterson and the Billikens complete the 2012-13 regular season at Eastern Illinois on Feb. 1. After that, Saint Louis will begin training for the Atlantic 10 Conference Championships at the Spire Institute in Geneva, Ohio. The championships begin on Feb. 20.
