ST. LOUIS - Sophomore Morgan Peterson and senior Taylor Streid were named to the 2012-13 Atlantic 10 Swimming and Diving All-Academic team, the conference office announced today. It is the first such accolade for Peterson and the second for Streid.

At the A-10 Championships, Peterson placed seventh in the 200-yard medley relay, third in the 200-yard IM, third in the 100-yard butterfly, fourth in the 400-yard medley relay, third in the 200-yard breaststroke and seventh in the 400-yard freestyle relay. She won bronze medals in three separate events at the A-10 meet and was the top scorer for SLU. In one season at Saint Louis, Peterson already owns five school records.

Streid wrapped up an incredible career in 2013. At the A-10 meet, she was seventh in the 200-yard medley relay, fourth in the 200-yard IM, ninth in the 100-yard butterfly, fourth in the 400-yard medley relay and seventh in the 400-yard freestyle relay. She continued to set records, breaking four this season. She holds the record in nine different events at SLU.
