ST. LOUIS – Saint Louis men's soccer continues its spring exhibition slate this weekend with a pair of matches at Robert R. Hermann Stadium. The Billikens take on Marquette Saturday at 6 p.m., then host Louisville Sunday at 11 a.m. Both are free to attend.
SLU played to a 1-1 draw against defending national champion Indiana in its spring opener March 23. Tyler David scored for the Billikens.
Marquette was the No. 7 overall seed at last year's NCAA Tournament but was upset in the second round by Northwestern. Louisville, the NCAA runner-up in 2010, advanced to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Tournament a season ago.
Next weekend's game against UMKC has been pushed back a day and will now be played on Sunday, April 14, at 6 p.m. at Robert R. Hermann Stadium. The game follows the annual team banquet, which is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. at Lorenzini's inside Chaifetz Arena. Alumni are invited to stick around after the banquet for an all-access experience surrounding the game, including being invited into the pregame meeting. For more information on the banquet, contact assistant coach Blake Schneider at bschne18@slu.edu. SLU concludes the spring season Friday, April 19, against Wash. U. in a 6 p.m. kick at Hermann Stadium.
