Get in the Game Luncheon Set for April 18

ST. LOUIS - The eighth annual "Get in the Game" Luncheon will be held Thursday, April 18, at Lorenzini's inside Chaifetz Arena. The event will once again be presented by The Boeing Company.

The reception begins at 11:30 a.m., with the program and lunch beginning at noon. Admission is free, although attendees will be asked to make a contribution to the "Get in the Game" scholarship fund. The Get in the Game Luncheon, which was initiated in 2006, supports scholarship and athletic opportunities for female student-athletes majoring in business at Saint Louis University. Billiken Athletics co-hosts the event with the John Cook School of Business. The keynote speaker at this year's luncheon is Lisa Stone, head women's basketball coach at Saint Louis. 

This year's recipient is Natalia Yacaman, a freshman for the tennis team. Past recipients are Breanna Lockette (softball), Jessica Van Nostrand (softball), Megan Nigbur (track and field), Katie Merritt (cross country/track and field), Natalie Gamez (field hockey) and the inaugural scholarship recipient, Mary Moloney (cross country/track and field).
