COLUMBIA, Mo. – Tori Belgeri and Lindsay Elking teamed for two late goals to lift Saint Louis women's soccer to a come-from-behind 2-1 victory over Missouri in a spring exhibition game April 20.
Missouri held a 1-0 lead after scoring in the 67th minute, and it stayed 1-0 thanks to a goal-line save by Maddy Bush.
The Billikens scored the equalizer in the 83rd minute as Belgeri found the back of the net with an assist from Elking. Belgeri returned the favor moments later with a feed to Elking, who put away a shot in the 86th minute for a 2-1 lead that held up.
Saint Louis, which has three wins and three ties in exhibition play this spring, concludes its spring season by welcoming Columbia College to Hermann Stadium Saturday, April 27. Game time is 7 p.m.
