ST. LOUIS – Senior designated player Laura Bohning, junior shortstop Jessica Van Nostrand and freshman pitcher Brianna Lore of the Saint Louis softball team were selected to the Atlantic 10 Championship All-Tournament team Saturday following the conclusion of the tournament.
Bohning hit .385 (team-high five hits, 5-for-13) and drove in a team-high-tying three runs in the Billikens' four tourney games. She had a team-high three doubles and led the Bills with a .615 slugging percentage. Bohning drew two walks, scored three runs and registered a .467 on-base percentage.
Van Nostrand led the team in batting average (.400, 4-for-10) and on-base percentage (.538). She tallied three RBIs, two doubles, a .600 slugging percentage, two walks, three runs and a sacrifice, and she committed just one error in 20 chances in the field.
Lore appeared in all four games (three starts) and logged 21 1/3 of the Billikens' 26 innings. She was 1-1 with a 1.64 ERA and one save, her school-record fifth of the season. Lore turned in two complete games, struck out 10, walked only three and yielded just three extra-base hits (all doubles).
The Billikens went 2-2 in the tournament.
