ST. LOUIS - The Saint Louis University department of athletics held its annual Senior Student-Athlete Banquet at Lorenzini's in Chaifetz Arena Wednesday night in advance of this week's graduation ceremonies.

All senior Billiken student-athletes and their families were recognized and honored by SLU director of athletics Chris May and the University staff. Each received a gift and a royal blue SLU student-athlete sash to be worn with their cap and gown at graduation.

Senior awards were also distributed. Cody Ellis (men's basketball) was tabbed Most Inspirational. Taylor Streid (women's swimming and diving) was named Most Outstanding Female Senior Student-Athlete. Co-Most Outstanding Male Senior Student-Athletes were Alex Alemann (baseball) and Kwamain Mitchell (men's basketball).
