SAINT LOUIS WELCOMES HOT FORDHAM TEAM – Saint Louis women's basketball (9-10, 2-4 Atlantic 10) challenges conference co-leader and defending A-10 tournament champion Fordham (14-5, 6-0) Saturday, Jan. 24. Tip time at Chaifetz Arena is 3 p.m. The Billikens are coming off a 76-47 triumph at La Salle Wednesday, while the Rams' 65-42 victory over Massachusetts that same day stretched their winning streak to six.

BILLIKEN LEADERS – Sadie Stipanovich paces the Saint Louis offense (65.5 ppg, sixth in the A-10) with 14 points per game. Stipanovich is followed by Jackie Kemph (9.2 ppg), Jamesia Price and Denisha Womack (7.7 ppg), Olivia Jakubicek (6.7 ppg), Erin Nelson (6.6 ppg) and Jenny Vliet (6.2 ppg). Stipanovich is atop the rebounding chart with 6.4 boards per game, Womack (5.5 rpg) is second and Jakubicek (5.1 rpg) ranks third. Kemph averages a team-high 5.7 assists. Other leaders are Nelson (25 3-pointers), Stipanovich (50.7 percent on 102-of-201 field goal shooting), Stipanovich (77.5 percent on 62-of-80 free throw shooting), Price (1.6 steals per game) and Stipanovich (2.2 offensive rebounds per game).
BILLIKENS ROUT LA SALLE – Jackie Kemph scored a game- and career-high 20 points, Desirae Ball tallied her 1,000th career point, and Saint Louis cruised past La Salle 76-47 Wednesday night in Philadelphia. Kemph also recorded a game-high seven assists. Sadie Stipanovich scored 13 points and collected seven rebounds, and Jamesia Price registered 11 points, six boards and five assists. Jenny Vliet tied her career best with a game-high nine rebounds as Saint Louis earned a 47-28 edge on the glass. Ball finished with nine points, and Olivia Jakubicek tossed in eight.
SCOUTING FORDHAM – The Rams enjoyed a 2013-14 campaign that saw them go 25-8, tie for second (11-5) in the A-10, win the A-10 Championship and advance to the NCAA Tournament. Fordham leads the league in scoring defense (52.8 ppg) and field goal percentage defense (.349) and ranks second in 3-point field goal percentage defense (.261). Emily Tapio leads a balanced offense with 11.9 points per game and ranks sixth in the A-10 in field goal percentage (.505). Hannah Missry is fourth in the conference in 3-pointers (2.7/game) and 3-point percentage (.402); Tiffany Ruffin is fourth in free throw percentage (.823) and fifth in assists (4.7 apg); and Samantha Clark is fifth in rebounding (7.8 rpg).
SERIES HISTORY – Fordham, which brings a five-game series winning streak into Saturday's action, owns a 6-5 series lead. The teams met twice a year ago, with Fordham winning 74-52 in the Bronx and 56-45 in St. Louis. Saint Louis holds a 3-2 edge on its home floor. The Billikens' last victory over Fordham was a 64-54 decision at Chaifetz Arena on Jan. 25, 2011.
HEAD COACH LISA STONE – Third-year head coach Lisa Stone owns a 536-284 record in her 29th season as a collegiate head coach. Before arriving at Saint Louis, Stone was 128-119 in eight seasons at Wisconsin, 64-27 in three years at Drake, 277-59 in 12 campaigns at Wisconsin-Eau Claire and 34-32 in three seasons at Cornell (Iowa). She is joined on the sideline by associate head coach Mike Geary and assistants Glenn Box and Linda Sayavongchanh.
