Saint Louis field hockey fell to Saint Francis 3-0 in the 2016 home finale. The Billikens outshot the Red Flash 9-7, outdrew them in corners 8-4 and had more saves in the game (two to one). The loss drops SLU to 2-12 overall and 0-6 in Atlantic 10 matches.

- The Billikens out-shot and out-cornered an opponent for the first time this season.
- Senior Maya Bentley led the Billiken offense with three shots in the game.
- Fellow senior Caitlin Gibson took SLU's lone shot on goal. 
- The Saint Louis defense held Saint Francis to seven shots in the game, a season-low for Saint Louis. 

The Billikens head east to wrap up the 2016 regular season with games against VCU on Friday and Richmond on Sunday.
