THE BASICS
Sadie Stipanovich became Saint Louis women's basketball's career scoring leader with a game-high 27 points, and the Billikens advanced to the Atlantic 10 Conference Championship semifinals with a 68-58 victory over Fordham Friday afternoon at Richmond Coliseum.
•Now in the tournament semifinals for a second consecutive year, the fourth-seeded Billikens (24-7) will take on top-seeded Dayton (20-9) Saturday at 10 a.m. (CT). The game will be televised on CBS Sports Network. Click here for a CBSSN channel finder.
•Fordham, the No. 5 seed, fell to 21-11.

HOW IT HAPPENED
•Saint Louis came out on fire. Jackie Kemph and Jenny Vliet sank two 3-pointers apiece over the Billikens' first four possessions for a 12-8 lead just 2:25 into the game.
•The Billikens led 18-14 at the end of the first quarter.
•In the second quarter, the SLU lead floated between two and six points until an 8-0 Fordham spurt put the Rams in front 28-26.
•The Billikens answered with a 5-0 run and took a 31-28 edge into intermission.
•Fordham scored on its first two third-quarter possessions to go on top 32-31, but the Rams' lead didn't last long.
Jordyn Frantz buried a 3-pointer to put Saint Louis ahead for good, 34-32, at the 7:32 mark.
•Kemph (nine points) and Olivia Jakubicek (five points) took care of the rest of SLU's scoring in the quarter, and the Billikens carried a 48-41 lead into the final 10 minutes.
•Fordham cut the margin to five on its initial fourth-quarter possession, but that was as close as the Rams would get.
•A bucket by Stipanovich with 7:01 remaining gave SLU a 55-45 cushion, and the lead remained in double digits the rest of the way.

BILLIKEN NOTABLES
•Stipanovich has 1,547 points, breaking the previous record of 1,545 set by Shatoya Likely (1994-98). She was 11-of-20 from the field and 5-of-6 from the free throw line. Stipanovich also collected a team-high seven rebounds.
•Kemph finished with 18 points, connecting on 7-of-14 from the field overall and 3-of-7 from 3-point range. She also registered a game-high eight assists.
•Vliet and Jakubicek grabbed five rebounds apiece.
•Frantz contributed five assists.
•The Billikens committed only four turnovers to set a school record for fewest turnovers in a game. SLU has a single-digit turnover total in five of its last six games.

•Mary Goulding, 17 points, 11 rebounds; G'mrice Davis, 11 points, 15 rebounds; Lauren Holden, 13 points.
