Saint Louis baseball had its nine-game win streak snapped with a 2-0 loss to Northern Illinois at home. It is the first time the Billikens have been shut out since May 7 of last season. Freshman Josh Garner (0-1) takes the loss, despite not allowing an earned run. The loss drops SLU to 13-2 this season.

- Aaron Case singled in the sixth inning, extending his on-base streak to 15 games (every game this season).
- Carter Hanford is close behind with a 12-game on-base streak. 
- Freshman Josh Garner scattered three hits over 6.1 IP with four strikeouts. He allowed one unearned run.
- This was the first time this season the Billikens did not draw a walk in the contest (although Parker Sniatynski did get hit by pitch). 
- Sniatynski stole a base in the contest, his fourth steal this week.

The Billikens host in-state rival Missouri State at the Billiken Sports Center on Tuesday. First pitch is set for 4 p.m.
