OVERVIEW
Saint Louis rises to 28-18 overall and 9-8 in Atlantic 10 games with a 4-3 victory over Richmond at the Billiken Sports Center. The Spiders had the go-ahead run at first base in the top of the ninth with two outs, when a ball was ripped up the first base line. A backhanded snag from SLU first baseman Nick Reeser sealed the win for SLU.

NOTABLE
- Trent Leimkuehler hit his fourth home run of the season in the seventh inning to tie the game at 3-3. He finished the game 2-for-4, his 20th multi-hit performance of the year.
- Cole Dubet had the game-winning RBI on a single to left in the seventh. This week, he is 4-for-5 with three RBIs and two runs scored.
- Ryan Lefner picked up his 10th save of the season. He is only the second Billiken in school history with a single-season double-digit save total.
- Miller Hogan started the game for SLU. He allowed a hit in the first inning, then settled in to retire eight in a row, walk a batter (who was later caught stealing) and then retire eight more consecutive batters.
