THE BASICS

The Billikens finished 1-1-1 in their exhibition slate and now set their sights on the season opener Friday, Aug. 25, against No. 8 Syracuse. Game time is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

Saint Louis out-shot the Wildcats 12-10 and had several dangerous opportunities late in the match. Sascha Otte made two saves for the shutout. The teams decided prior to the match that no overtime sessions would be played.
