OVERVIEW
Saint Louis volleyball wrapped up the 2017 Holiday Inn - University Plaza Invitational with matches against ETSU and WKU. The Billikens fell to ETSU 3-2 and host school WKU 3-0. The losses drop SLU to 0-9 on the year. Sien Gallop was named to the All-Tournament team after recording 10 aces in the tournament. 

SLU NOTABLE
• In the first set against ETSU, Monica Loftus led the Billikens with three kills and a .400 attack percentage. 
Sien Gallop paced the Billikens in the second set, notching five kills with a .455 attack percentage as well as two aces in the frame. 
• In the match, Lauren Leverenz hit .249 with a team-leading 14 kills. 
Nenye Okoro also had 14 kills, but added 14 digs for SLU's second double-double of the season.
• Gallop stuffed the stat sheet, recording nine kills, seven aces and 14 digs.
• Against WKU, freshman Maya Taylor led SLU with nine kills while hitting .250.
Lauren Mershon led the team with a .545 attack percentage.
• Okoro narrowly missed her second double-double with eight kills and 10 digs.
• Freshman Kennedy Cordia recorded 26 assists. 

UP NEXT
The Billikens head to Macomb, Illinois on Sept. 12 to take on Western Illinois. First serve is set for 6 p.m.
