Saint Louis junior Lennart Hein converted a penalty kick in the 72nd minute to propel the visiting Billikens to a 1-0 victory over Marquette Saturday in nonconference men’s soccer action in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The Billikens improve to 1-3-0 on the season, while Marquette falls to 0-3-1.
It was the second goal in as many games for Hein, who leads the Billikens with two goals.
Senior goalkeeper Sascha Otte made seven saves for the shutout win, his first clean sheet of the season. He now has 21 career shutouts, which ranks amongst the most in the country by active NCAA Division I goalkeepers.
