• Alyssa Seitzer scored her third goal of the season in the 61st minute to break a 1-1 deadlock, and Saint Louis went on to register a 3-1 victory over Evansville Friday night at Arad McCutchan Stadium.

• Olivia Petit and Maddie Pokorny also hit the target for the Billikens (7-0-1), who extended the best start in program history.

Evansville, which saw its two-game winning streak snapped, fell to 4-5.

• Evie Lavelle recorded the first two-assist game of her collegiate career, becoming the second Billiken this season (Alyssa Seitzer vs. Vanderbilt) to accomplish the feat.

• Maddie Pokorny’s goal was her team-leading fifth of the season. Olivia Petit turned in her fourth goal of the year.

The Olivia Petit-Evie Lavelle pairing was the Billikens’ 15th different scoring combination on 17 assisted goals this season.

• Maddie Pokorny led all players with a career-high five shots on goal. Emma Farley tallied a career-high four total shots.

Saint Louis dominated the statistics, earning healthy advantages in total shots (22-4), shots on goal (13-3) and corner kicks (11-1). The 13 shots on frame are a season high.

SLU has outscored its first eight opponents 20-4.

• Alyssa Seitzer (12 points) and Maddie Pokorny (11 points) remain the Billikens’ top two scorers this season.

• Mary Niehaus, Alli Klug and Molly Ream played all 90 minutes.
