ST. LOUIS -- Saint Louis freshman T.J. Halliburton has been named the Atlantic 10 Conference men's swimming and diving Rookie of the Week for Oct. 23-29, the league office announced Tuesday. It is the Billikens' first A-10 weekly award this season.

Halliburton finished second in two events at the Atlantic 10 Classic in Geneva, Ohio, over the weekend. He was runner-up in the 100 backstroke in a time of 52.17, and he joined Justin Mars, Isaiah Williams and Ryan McCoy on the Billikens' 400 medley relay team that placed second with a 3:24.77 clocking. Halliburton also finished fourth in the 200 backstroke (1:53.54).

The Billikens host their first meet of the season at Simon Rec Center Friday, Nov. 3, at 5 p.m. Both teams swim against Lindenwood-Belleville, and the women's team also takes on Little Rock.
