FAIRFAX, Virginia – Saint Louis concluded the A-10 Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Sunday, with eight Billikens earning medals and several school records falling during the meet.

Junior Manuel de Backer brought home second-place finishes in both the 5,000 meters (14:41.14) and 10,000 meters (30:40.61).

Ann Harlos won silver in the 400-meter hurdles, registering runner-up honors with a time of 59.87.

Katie Wissing finished third in the triple jump with a leap of 12.05 meters. Sarah Reich brought home the bronze in the javelin, posting a school-record heave of 43.13 meters.

The men's 4x800-meter relay team of Colton Nettleton, Tannock Blair, Jon Schaefer and Ryan Noonan finished third in a time of 7:37.84.

Also registering school records were Amanda Baker (heptathlon, 4436) and Jasmine Jefko (hammer throw, 49.49 meters).

The men finished eighth overall in the meet, while the women placed 11th.
