Saint Louis dropped a heartbreaker Friday night against Saint Francis, as the Red Flash scored twice in the final five minutes of regulation to post a 3-2 win over the Billikens.

SLU dips to 2-6 overall and 0-3 in league play, while Saint Francis improves to 4-5 and 2-0 in the league.

Saint Francis struck first with a a score in the sixth minute, but SLU answered right back when Lili Wareham tallied for the Billikens less than a minute later.

Early in the second half, Ashlee Kothenbeutel scored to put the Billikens on top 2-1.

That remained the score until late in regulation. Taylor Nesmith scored the equalizer in the 66th minute, then Brea Seabrook scored the game-winning goal with 30 seconds remaining.

SLU outshot the Red Flash 15-14. Each team have five penalty corners.
