ST. LOUIS – Saint Louis freshman Susan D'Onofrio was named the Atlantic 10 Conference's track and field women's Rookie of the Week, while sophomore Katie Wissing was named the A-10 track and field women's Field Performer of the Week, the league announced.

SLU has now collected four A-10 weekly honors through two weeks of the indoor season. It is Wissing's second consecutive week being recognized by the league.

Wissing and D'Onofrio placed first and second, respectively, in the triple jump at the Saluki Fast Start meet at Southern Illinois University. Wissing registered a mark of 11.82 meters, while D’Onofrio leaped 11.37 meters.

Wissing's distance in the triple jump leads the A-10, while D'Onofrio ranks fourth in the league and first among freshman. Wissing also owns the A-10's top distance in the long jump (5.70 meters) this season.

Saint Louis is back in action after Christmas break when it travels to Champaign, Illinois, for the Illini Open on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019.
