SETTING THE SCENE
-- Saint Louis takes on George Washington on Wednesday in Washington, D.C. Game time from the Smith Center is 5:30 p.m. (CT).

THINGS TO KNOW
-- Saint Louis continues a two-game A-10 roadswing Wednesday when it heads to the Smith Center in Foggy Bottom to face George Washington.
-- The Billikens enter the week in sixth place in the Atlantic 10 standings with a 6-5 league record. With seven regular-season games remaining, SLU is two games out of a top-four spot in the league, which would ensure a double-bye in the A-10 Championship.
-- Saint Louis is coming off a 91-61 loss at Saint Joseph’s on Friday night. Tramaine Isabell Jr. paced the Bills with 17 points, but SJU shot 55.9 percent from the field to post the win.
-- Senior guard Javon Bess continues to lead the Billikens in scoring with 15.6 ppg, 10th in the A-10. He also leads Saint Louis in 3-pointers made (51). Bess’ 15.7 ppg in A-10 games only is fourth in the league.
-- Sophomore forward Hasahn French leads the Billikens with eight double-doubles. He is second in the Atlantic 10 in rebounding with 8.4 rpg in all games, 9.4 rpg in A-10 games only. French is sixth in school history with 99 career blocks.
-- Sophomore guard Jordan Goodwin averages 10.0 ppg and leads SLU in assists (85) and steals (48; T3rd in A-10). He also pulls down 6.9 rpg, second on the team.
-- Senior guard Tramaine Isabell Jr. is second on the Billikens in scoring (10.8 ppg) and assists (77). Senior guard Dion Wiley has hit a trey in nine-straight games.
-- The Billikens are the A-10 leaders in rebounding margin at +6.3. SLU is especially strong on the offensive glass as it posts a league-leading 14.0 orpg.
-- SLU returns to Chaifetz Arena on Saturday when it hosts La Salle at 4 p.m.
SCOUTING THE COLONIALS
-- George Washington enters Wednesday’s game 7-16 overall and 3-7 in Atlantic 10 Conference play.
-- GW has lost two in a row. Its A-10 wins came against Saint Joseph’s, La Salle and Fordham.
-- Guard DJ Williams leads three active Colonials in double figures with 14.2 ppg.
-- Guards Terry Nolan Jr. (11.1 ppg) and Maceo Jack have combined for 87 of the Colonials’ 140 3-pointers.
-- Head coach Maurice Joseph is in his third season as head coach at GW, his eighth season overall in Foggy Bottom.
