INDIANAPOLIS - Despite senior Cassie Clarke's 13th double-double of the season, Saint Louis dropped its final conference match of the year, 3-0 to Butler. The Billikens fall to 10-19 overall and finish Atlantic 10 play with a 4-10 ledger. Clarke recorded 28 assists and 13 digs in addition to five kills.
Freshman Megan Gilbert continued her impressive freshman campaign with 10 kills and a .400 hitting percentage in the match. On the season, Gilbert has 236 and a .223 hitting percentage.
Defensively, senior Carly Marcum notched five total blocks and junior Grace Bonoma had 14 digs. Bonoma has 1,136 career digs, eighth all-time at Saint Louis. Marcum has raised her career average to 0.89 blocks per set, 14th all-time for the Billikens.
Though this is the final conference match for the Bills this season, Saint Louis has one final meeting in the 2012 campaign. The Billikens will travel to Lawrence, Kan. on Nov. 21 to take on the Jayhawks of Kansas. First serve is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
