SEATTLE - Washington's Aziz N'Diaye and C.J. Wilcox combined for 26 of the Huskies' 37 second-half points as UW topped the Billikens 66-61 Wednesday night at Alaska Airlines Arena in Seattle.

With the loss, the Billikens fall to 3-3 while Washington improves to 3-3.

Wilcox scored 27 points overall on 11-of-13 shooting from the floor and 4-of-5 from 3-point range. Abdul Gaddy chipped in with 16 points, while N'Diaye recorded 14 and added a game-high eight rebounds.

The Billikens put four players in double figures, led by Cody Ellis' 14 points. Rob Loe scored 13, while Mike McCall Jr. and Jordair Jett recorded 11 points apiece.

During a stretch in the second half, N'Diaye and Wilcox connected on 22 consecutive Husky points, who opened up an 11-point lead with 5:59 left to go.

SLU had an answer during N'Diaye's and Wilcox's spurt to keep it close. Loe hit a trey at the 10:54 mark and a layup at 9:15 to keep it a one-point affair before Washington went on a 10-0 run to take an 11-point lead with 5:59 left.

A pair of treys by McCall Jr. made it a six-point game with just under a minute to go, and a Loe bucket made it 65-61 with 27 seconds remaining. UW's Andrew Andrews missed the second of two free throws, but SLU was unable to corral the rebound and Washington held on for the 66-61 victory.

In the first half, Loe scored six straight points to give the Billikens a five-point lead at 17-12. A pair of treys by Ellis put the Billikens on top 23-17 with 6:48 remaining in the first half, the largest Billiken lead of the game. The squads would trade baskets down the stretch, and Abdul Gaddy hit a 3-pointer as time expired to make it 29-all at the break.

Ellis hit four 3-pointers and is now sixth all-time with 145 career 3-pointers made.

SLU returns to action Sunday afternoon when it hosts Valparaiso at Chaifetz Arena. Tip time is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. The game will be televised on FOX Sports Midwest.
