O'FALLON, Ill. - Saint Louis women's tennis opened its spring season with a 7-0 loss to Missouri Saturday night at St. Clair Tennis Club.

"Missouri is a very solid SEC team and most likely the best team we will face in the regular season," head coach Jon Zych said. "Our players fought hard and tried to change it up, but Mizzou is talented from No. 1 to No. 6. This was a tough first match, but it will build our capacity for the future."
