CONCORD, N.C. - Saint Louis senior Hilary Orf claimed runner-up honors at the Atlantic 10 Conference Women's Cross Country Championship Saturday. It is the best finish ever for a Billiken in the A-10 meet.

Orf turned in a 5K time of 17:21.6, good for second overall and her best time ever at the conference meet. It also marked the third consecutive year that Orf claimed All-Conference honors, a nod given to a student-athlete who finishes in the top 15. She previously finished seventh last season and 13th her sophomore year.

Joining Orf on the All-Conference podium was sophomore Margo Richardson. Last year's A-10 Rookie of the Year, Richardson finished 10th overall with a time of 17:49.3.

Freshman Natalie Myers was the next Billiken finisher, turning in a time of 19:00.7 to place 53rd. Sophomore Lauren Fyalka was 58th with a time of 19:02.4, while freshman Madie Alexander rounded out the scoring for the Billikens with an 84th-place time of 19:30.6. As a team, the Billikens finished eighth.

For the men, junior Jack Hostettler led the Billikens with an 8K time of 26:17.2, which was good for 63rd. Right on Hostettler's heels was freshman Sean Canavin, who posted a 64th-place time of 26:17.2.

Junior Logan Davis was 71st with a time of 26:28.7, while freshman Michael Scolarici turned in a time of 26:30.3 to finish 73rd. Tim Zellmer also scored for the Billikens, finishing 86th with a time of 26:44.1 SLU finished 11th overall.

The Billikens return to action Saturday, Nov. 12, for the NCAA Midwest Regional in DeKalb, Ill.
