Van Nostrand Delivers Again, Billikens Blank Nicholls State
HAMMOND, La. - Jessica Van Nostrand had three hits and three RBIs to lead Saint Louis to a 5-0 triumph over Nicholls State Friday afternoon at Southeastern Louisiana's Jimmy John's Lion Classic 1.

Alyson Brand made it 2-0 and reached on a fielder's choice with a squeeze bunt that plated Brungardt and advanced Van Nostrand to third. With one out, Elizabeth Everingham's ground ball chased Van Nostrand home to boost the Billiken lead to 3-0.
Saint Louis added two insurance runs in the fourth. Erin Harcar singled with one out, stole second and scooted to third when Buschjost reached on an error. Buschjost swiped second, and one out later, Van Nostrand doubled to right center to give the Bills a 5-0 cushion.
