Maggie Kroemer joined the Billiken staff in the fall of 2012. She oversees all meet manager responsibilities and leads the distance and IM groups for the Bills. Kroemer also oversees all of Saint Louis' recruiting efforts.
Prior to Saint Louis, Kroemer coached for the Kansas City Blazers swim club, which is one of the top club teams in the nation. Collegiately, she was a graduate assistant coach for the University of Texas-Permian Basin. During her stint there, UTPB set dozens of school records and had several swimmers make NCAA Division II B cuts. Before coaching at UTPB, Kroemer coached in the Milwaukee area at both Schroeder YMCA and Nicolet High School. During her coaching career, Kroemer has coached several Sectional, Zone, Junior National and Olympic Trial qualifiers.
As an athlete, Kroemer was a standout swimmer for the Crusaders of Valparaiso where she specialized in distance and butterfly events. She was a six-time conference finalist and a member of the Academic All-Conference team. She received her BS in Education in 2005 from Valpo and her MS in Kinesiology from UTPB in 2009.
