HOMEWOOD, Ill. – Dominant singles play led Saint Louis women’s tennis to its fourth consecutive win Friday night, a 5-2 victory over Chicago State.
The Billikens, who have won nine of their last 10 contests, improved to 10-4. SLU has won 10 or more matches in nine successive seasons.
Chicago State took a 1-0 lead by capturing the doubles point, but Saint Louis won five of six in singles play, all in straight sets.The Billikens host Southern Illinois Thursday, March 27, at Dwight Davis Tennis Center. First serve is scheduled for 2 p.m.
