O’FALLON, Ill. – Saint Louis won four 3-set singles matches, including two in comeback fashion, and defeated Southern Illinois 5=2 Thursday afternoon at St. Clair Tennis Club.

The Billikens, who improved to 11-4, have won five straight and 10 of their last 11 matches. Southern Illinois fell to 11-5.

The Salukis took a 1-0 lead by winning all three doubles matches, but the Billikens captured five of the six singles contests. No. 1 Aspen Cervin and No. 3 Natalia Yacaman overcame first-set defeats, while No. 2 Stephanie Hollis and No. 4 Brooke Urzendowski also won in three sets. No. 6 Madison Cook prevailed in straight sets.
