The 2017 season will be Brian Grazier’s fourth as an assistant coach at Saint Louis University, but his 10th season overall for the former Billiken student-athlete and graduate student manager.
As an assistant coach at SLU, Grazier assists with all aspects of the program including game and player management, training planning and compliance.
Hired at Saint Louis in the summer of 2014, Grazier spent the previous four years as an assistant coach at Rutgers under former SLU head coach Dan Donigan. Grazier helped the Scarlet Knights reach the third round of the NCAA Tournament in 2011.
An Edwardsville, Ill., native, Grazier played for the Billikens from 2003 to 2007. He led the Billikens to three NCAA Tournament appearances and made more than 70 appearances. Following his graduation, he played professionally for one season with the Colorado Rapids of Major League Soccer.
Grazier returned to SLU in 2009 to serve one season as a graduate student manager under Donigan. That season, the Billikens captured their first Atlantic 10 Conference Tournament crown and advanced to the NCAA Tournament.
Prior to his playing career at SLU, Grazier was a member of the U.S. Under-17 National Team and completed his residency at the Edison Academic Center in Bradenton, Fla.
Grazier and his wife, Sarah, reside in the St. Louis area.
