|Position:||Support Services Coordinator|
Michael Wilson was one of Travis Ford's first hires to the Billikens' staff when Wilson was named Support Services Coordinator in April 2016. One of Wilson's primary duties at SLU is to manage the program's video operation.
Wilson has been an integral part of the Billikens' staff since his arrival at Saint Louis University. SLU has improved its win total each season, highlighted by last year’s 23-13 record, an Atlantic 10 Conference Championship title, and a bid to the NCAA Tournament.
“Michael Wilson brings great enthusiasm and energy to our basketball family,” Ford said when announcing Wilson's hire. “He is an extremely hard worker and has a great understanding of the game as well as the video aspects when breaking down film.”
Before landing at SLU, Wilson served two years on Ford’s staff at Oklahoma State as a graduate assistant and Assistant Video Coordinator. He was responsible for gathering and breaking down film for scouting purposes as well as preparing highlight videos for use in the preseason, during the season and postseason. Wilson also produced recruiting mail outs while with the Cowboys.
Wilson has worked camps with the Dallas Mavericks and at the Bill Self Basketball Camp. A 2014 graduate of TCU, he served in multiple capacities on the TCU women’s basketball staff as an undergrad including film coordinator, practice player and team manager. Wilson earned a master’s degree from Oklahoma State in 2016.
