ST. LOUIS – Saint Louis volleyball alumna Taylor Paulson - who received a degree in Communication in December - has signed a contract to play professional volleyball with Nurmon Jymy in Seinajoki, Finland. The team is in the midst of its season, and Paulson will compete with the team as a middle blocker through the remainder of the season.
"We are excited about this opportunity for Taylor,” Saint Louis head volleyball coach Kent Miller said. “She has worked hard to become the best possible collegiate player she could be and is completely prepared to play at the next level. We look forward to following her success as a professional player."
Nurmon Jymy competes in Finland’s top division (1-sarja). The club was founded in 1925 and is led by head coach Kari Tuomela. For more on Nurmon Jymy, click here.
Paulson’s first match with Nurmon Jymy will take place on Jan. 8 as they take on Etta.
