A four-run eighth inning from Butler handed Saint Louis baseball its third loss of the season. Starting pitcher Miller Hogan threw seven innings allowing two runs on four hits with one walk and six strikeouts. At the plate, Parker Sniatynski was 2-for-3 with a triple, a run scored and an RBI. The loss drops SLU to 14-3 overall this season.

- Miller Hogan tallied six strikeouts for the third time this season. He has 27 strikeouts to 11 walks so far this year.
- Parker Sniatynski was 2-for-3 in the game, hitting his second triple of the season. It is his fifth multi-hit game this season.
- The Billikens drew seven walks in the game, the fifth time this year the Bills have drawn at least seven walks.
- Aaron Case hit the first pitch of the game up the middle for a single. The junior college transfer has reached base safely in every contest this season. 

The Billikens continue the series tomorrow at 2 p.m. Senior southpaw Devin Mahoney is set to start on the mound for SLU. Due to staffing constraints, there will be no live stats at tomorrow's game.
