Saint Louis defeated Butler on Sunday 4-2 to push its overall record to 15-4 this season. Jackson Wark got the win as a starting pitcher to rise to 3-1 this year. Ryan Lefner picked up the save, his fifth of the season.

- Trent Leimkuehler and Cole Dubet each went 2-for-4 with a run scored in the game. Dubet also added an RBI. 
- Griffin Robinson provided the pop for SLU, going 1-for-3 with a double, the only extra-base hit of the contest for either team. 
- As a pitching staff, th Billikens recorded eight strikeouts. The bullpen of Sean Frontzak and Ryan Lefner allowed three base runners over two innings, one of which reached via error.

The Billikens open Atlantic 10 Conference play with a three-game home series against St. Bonaventure. Game one is set for 6 p.m. on Friday.
