The Billikens surrendered two big innings and fell to in-state rival Missouri State 15-8. Charlie Sheehan was strong in relief, throwing five innings with four strikeouts and one walk. The defeat drops SLU to 21-12 overall.

- Nick Reeser hit his first home run of the season, a solo shot in the bottom of the second. He finished the game 3-for-5 with two runs scored and an RBI.

- Freshman Charlie Sheehan was strong on the mound for the Billikens. He threw five innings, allowing four hits, two earned runs, one walk and four strikeouts.
