Maureen Dunn joined the Billikens as an assistant coach in May 2017. She is also the recruiting coordinator for the program. She comes to Saint Louis after serving as an assistant coach at Missouri S&T.
She helped coach the Billikens to an 8-20 (6-8) in 2018, earning the sixth seed in the A-10 Tournament. Maya Taylor earned First-Team All-Conference honors, and Giovanna Charles was put on the A-10 All-Rookie team.
At Missouri S&T, Dunn assisted in all on-court training for the Miners, focusing primarily on passing, defense and serving. She led the team efforts in film breaking and scouting. Dunn also has experience in strength and conditioning, game planning and recruiting. Prior to S&T, Nesbit-Dunn was a graduate assistant coach at Lindenwood-Belleville.
Dunn also served as a coach for High Performance-STL volleyball club. With HP, she trained and recruited for the U16, U15 and U13 teams.
Dunn played both her prep and collegiate careers in the St. Louis area. In college, she starred at McKendree University for the 2012 and 2013 seasons. Despite only two seasons at McKendree, Dunn tallied 598 kills and 764 digs in her career. In high school, she was a standout at Althoff Catholic in Belleville, Ill. Dunn was a three-time All-Conference selection at Althoff, leading the Crusaders to a 91-24 record.
