ST. LOUIS – Saint Louis senior swimmer Mina Glenesk recently competed at the Swedish National Championships in Boras, Sweden. The meet featured top talent from across Sweden. Glenesk holds dual citizenship in the United States and Sweden.

The meet was held in a 100-meter long-course pool. Glenesk swam in several events, finishing fifth in the 800-meter freestyle (9:11.10) and 400-meter freestyle (4:27.78). She also swam in the 1500-meter freestyle (17:57.74, sixth place), 200-meter freestyle (2:06.70) and 800-meter freestyle relay (8:29.66, fourth).

Glenesk is one of the top distance swimmers in SLU history. She holds Billiken records in the 500-yard (4:52.88), 1000-yard (10:08.80) and 1650-yard (16:46.21) freestyle events. Last season, Glenesk won the Atlantic 10 Conference championship in the 1650-yard freestyle.
