ST. LOUIS – The matchups for the 23rd annual 2K Classic benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project were announced today, and Saint Louis will face Virginia Tech at Madison Square Garden on Nov. 16.

The Billikens and Hokies (22-11 last season) will be playing the first game of a 6 p.m. (CT) semifinal doubleheader. Washington and Providence play in the nightcap. Both games will be televised on ESPN2.

The consolation game takes place Friday, Nov. 17, at 4 p.m. (CT), with the championship game immediately following at approximately 6:30 p.m. (CT). Those games also will be televised on ESPN2.

Previously, the regional rounds of the tournament were announced. Seattle visits Chaifetz Arena Friday, Nov. 10, for the home opener. Detroit Mercy comes to town Nov. 22. The outcomes of the regional round have no bearing on the championship rounds played at Madison Square Garden.

Additional nonconference games that have been finalized include the Billikens traveling to face Butler on Saturday, Dec. 2, and Houston visiting Chaifetz Arena on Saturday, Dec. 9. The Billikens’ complete schedule will be announced at a later date.
