ST. LOUIS – Saint Louis junior Carly Kissinger has been named the Atlantic 10 Conference field hockey co-Player of the Week, the conference office announced today. She is the first Billiken to earn Player of the Week honors since 2011 (Lexi Lindblad on 8/30).

Kissinger led the Billikens to a 2-0 week with two goals and two assists over two contests. She scored both of her goals (including the game-winner) against LIU Brooklyn on Aug. 30. Kissinger took 10 shots in the game, eight of which were on goal. Against Colgate on Sept. 2, she tallied an assist on the game-winner to give SLU a two-game winning streak. Kissinger's 10 shots are a season-high in the A-10 and her two goals are tied for the A-10 single game best

The Billikens return to action this weekend with a game against Central Michigan on Sunday. The game is set to begin at noon.
